much of the Bible man is exhorted to have a pure heart, and to walk with his God.

I would also suggest that this,
"son[s]
of God" label, refers to a
hoped for spiritual
attainment, of mankind.
This is an attainment which our God, Yahweh has continually [in the
record of
the Bible pages] endeavoured to 'foster' within us.
Romans
8:5
For they that are after the flesh do
mind the things of the flesh; but
they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is
death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

to ......'walk with

We humans are [essentially] spiritual beings.
But we have been 'bonded' into a physical body [here], on earth, until
death.

through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

Yes, i know, some people ask, 'What is, the blood of Christ's sacrifice,
about? A 'blood sacrifice', that doesn't make any sense?'.
They can't see it, because they do not look.
