A personal observation...
- Muslim clerics are very treacherous souls [example1].
- Those muslims who listen to, and believe, muslim clerics

But to what, and to who?
Do they, in fact, know?
ISLAM is immune to external
criticism -
ISLAM's devotees are firm

And yet, i am mistaken.
As no reasoning [on my part, supposedly], is equal to the task of
convincing a

To a

I think one "refutation" that we are blinded to is simply the following:
#102: He is criticizing Islam.
We kuffar don't realise, and

self-evident, complete refutation of all your arguments.
Although it is a logical
non-sequitor,
this doesn't seem to bother them in the least.
The argument goes:
1. Spencer
is criticizing Islam (which they would posit as self-evident);
2. Ergo,
all his statements are wrong and invalid. Case closed.
Although not all are bold enough to add, there is a point three:
3. Consequently he is deserving of death
(and the corollary that somebody ought to make it their job to carry
this out).
Not an argument even recognized
by most kuffar,
but apparently quite acceptable to many muslims.
The
immunity of Islam to criticism
carries
with it an automatic refutation of all who
would try.
Even if you are not
criticising Islam,
if by bald assertion it can
be argued that your are,
then anything you have to say
is automatically null and void.

appeal to axiomatics -- the
immunity of Islam to criticism is,
to them, an axiom, self-evident, and an integral part

'Abrogation'
in the Koran
The doctrine of abrogation says that when there are confusions
(i.e. contradictory statements in Koran), the later verses abrogate the
former contradictory verses.
But this is certainly
not
always how muslim clerics approach 'Abrogation'.
Basically all devout muslims approach 'Abrogation' of Koran verses with
duplicity
[treachery!].
The fact is, muslim clerics have an ISLAMIC doctrine for all political
environments.
Muslim clerics are men [
snakes]
'for all seasons' !
The appropriate verse, is more 'properly', always dependent upon
the political circumstances of
muslims vis-a-vis non-muslims [wherever the verses are to be
'applied'].
Invariably,
if muslims are politically strong, then the harsh verses apply, if
muslims are politically weak, then the
conciliatory verses apply.

And
this is how 'Abrogation' of Koran verses,
is
applied, in the real

contradict each other. How do you tell which one to follow? Simple.
According to the Koran, the later verse replaces the earlier verse. And
wherever there is contradiction, the later Koran of Medina abrogates
(annuls or cancels) the earlier Koran of Mecca. [This rule of
abrogation is given in the Koran]
But knowing which verses to follow is
much more complicated than that. The “nice”
Koran of Mecca is still to be used if Islam is weak in political power.
When Islam has the strength—force is the answer; use the Koran of
Medina. All
verses can be used as needed. The Koran is dualistic.
The Koran also establishes a
different form of logic. Since the Koran is both true and contradictory
it violates the normal rules of logic. In unitary
logic if something is contradictory it is false. But the Koran is
contradictory and true. This is dualistic logic. So Islam
operates under a different form of reasoning than the rest of the world.

Any criticism

Panorama rejects Muslim complaint
......The MCB [Muslim Council
of Britain]
, an umbrella organisation
for around 400 mosques and other Islamic groups,
claimed that A Question of Leadership was
"dishonestly presented, mischievously edited
and clearly aimed
at maligning
the Muslim Council of Britain
and its major affiliates... without
regard for the facts".
In his response, Panorama editor Mike
Robinson described the allegations as "about as grave a complaint as it
is possible to make."
.....Panorama has sent a detailed and
strongly worded letter to the MCB in response to several complaints
made since the broadcast.
Editor Mike Robinson wrote:
"I have found there to be no truth
in your claims that this programme was dishonestly
presented, maliciously
motivated or Islamophobic."
"......Islam is a superior
faith and culture which Christians and Jews in the West are conspiring
to undermine."
.......You have claimed that the programme maligned
certain organisations affiliated to the MCB, even though the
programme highlighted their sermons, documents
and conduct
which were sectarian or which demonised
other
faiths and races, and which were likely to foment division. Such
views were either advocated by these affiliates or appeared to be
tolerated by them.
You have also publicly accused us of being engaged in a "witch-hunt against
British Muslims." I simply cannot accept that highlighting
sectarian and racist language
amounts to persecution.
You have expressed scepticism
that Sheikh
Al Sudais, who was an honoured guest
at the East London Mosque where the MCB's Deputy General Secretary is
Chairman, had previously said in Mecca
that Jews
were "monkeys and pigs", "rats of the
world" and the "offspring of
apes and pigs"; that Christians were "cross worshippers... those
influenced by the rottenness of their ideas and the poison of their
cultures the followers of secularism", and that Hindus were "idol
worshippers."

......Many commentators have concurred that in Mawdudi's Islamic state non-Muslims
would have second
class status.
Moreover, apart from the right to life itself, as Bonney also notes,
perhaps the most important human right is the right to freedom of
belief, which itself implies the freedom to change one's religion. "Not
so for Mawdudi" says Bonney. It seems that in Mawdudi's eyes, Muslims
who did wish to change their belief would be guilty of apostasy and
executed. As the programme team's research showed, Mawdudi's views on
apostasy appear to have been sanitised
for Western consumption.
As Bonney reports, Mawdudi has been accused of "dishonesty
on the question of freedom of belief. In his pamphlet Human Rights in
Islam, which was first published in the UK
in 1976, Mawdudi directed
his arguments towards a
western audience and made no mention of the doctrine of
apostasy. Instead he concentrated on the Qur'anic injunction that there
should be no coercion in matters of faith (Q.2:56)." Mawdudi is
reported to have declared in
Pakistan that apostasy
was punishable
by death, whereas here he has made no mention of this. Bonney
also quotes Ishtiaq Ahmed [Associate Professor Department of Political
Science, Stockholm University] as concluding that Mawdudi emerges as
"an ideologue of state might and an opponent of human freedom and
equality."
