Someone i know, V, responded to my,   The trouble with ISLAM - part 1 page by saying, "There is enough hate in the world."

I agree.

But i do not see it as    hateful    to examine, scrutinize, and criticize, [what i see as] the source of much of the hate and violence in the world today.

And i do not see it as    'hateful'    to cry , "Wolf!", when i see one!

In my opinion, THE SOURCE [the 'motivator'] of much the hate in this world today, is the Koran and Hadith.
And here for your perusal, is an example of some of those Koran verses.

Probe this issue [the controversy over emerging ISLAMIC supremacism] for yourself!

I happily align myself with the views of the 'RASCZAK' character [in the movie, Starship Troopers], when he says here....

Figuring things out for yourself is the only freedom anyone really has.
Use that freedom.

It would seem that many 'Kuffar' in the 'West', when confronted by the actions of violent ISLAM, would rather ignore it, or pretend that the danger and evil of ISLAM does not exist.
Or is their response to violent ISLAM just plain cowardly, to refuse to confront this danger to our communities [and the evil of ISLAM]?

Personally i am not happy to be 'gagged' because to sound an alarm about what is happening, may 'frighten' some tender souls.

And i cry...."Wolf!"

And my response to the accusation, that being bold enough to express an opinion is in some way hateful [because i have an opinion which may be different to others], would be very emphatically...

V, open your eyes.
For example, open your eyes to a differing perspective, such as the one expressed here, by some courageous Iranian university students...

"......if we keep silent it's easier for them to do the same things to other people,"

And this view expressed by the Iranian university students, is i believe, thoughtful advice for everyone enjoying a life [style] here in the West!
A lifestyle enjoyed here, which is clearly not available to those living in Iran today - an ISLAMIC paradise!

And so, when people suggest that i [and others] should not speak out on these issues, what i believe that these people are really saying, is that...
I should live my life [here], as though i lived in a country like Iran!

Why don't you just convert now V, to ISLAM!

I think i regard ISLAM as a kind of evil schoolyard bully - of the world.

Firstly, is my analogy of a schoolyard bully appropriate?

Can you think of another, a more appropriate analogy?
Or, is it just that, to you, ISLAM not a problem at all?

And secondly...

Can you tell me what is the best way to deal with such a schoolyard bully?

Now, applying the solution to the problem of bullying, to the real world.
Do you feel that this solution is still valid?
Will such a solution stop the 'bullying'?

And does the world enjoy peace today - because of this solution?

And it is we humans that make it so!
Still!

Myself, i believe that it is our human 'appetites' which make our world, the way it is.

Can we humans on this small planet, deal effectively with our underlying human nature of both aggression, and unbounded greed?
How?

The 'real' world is still there

And the real world remains a dangerous place...
A perusal of our human history teaches us that wishing that the real world were not a dangerous place is not a solution - for the weak.

Because unfortunately...

In the real world, and from repeated examples in our human history, we have learnt that...
Aggression is not overcome by surrender to it.

A paradise - well, sort of...

In the West, over hundreds of years, we have carved out for ourselves our own little piece of paradise, here on earth.
We call it our 'culture', or our Western civilisation.
And as a social group, we have 'made' our culture, for ourselves, unconsciously, over hundreds of years, over thousands of years.

And we made it as a refuge, a safe place, from those barbarians, 'out there'.
And, yes, we ourselves were also once 'those barbarians', 'out there'.
Throughout human history other cultures have also regarded us as 'those barbarians', as those 'others', 'out there'.

For ourselves [here in the West], slowly we chose to change ourselves, and the way we lived.
Time passed.
And here we are today.
On the net...

And - how - did we 'make' such a successful, and prosperous culture?
I believe, largely, that our cultural 'success' came through our collective decision to live in an inclusive world.
It was our desire to embrace change, and innovation, and new ideas, these things sped us along to our current prosperity and knowledge.

And the more inclusive we were, the 'richer' we have become.
But we did this, this 'inclusiveness' thing, with discernment, accepting some new things, while rejecting others.

these men told the pilots, that this was a 'simple' plane high-jacking.

The pilots were told that they should not resist,
but that they should submit peacefully to the hijackers demands.

It seems that all of the 9/11 aircraft pilots were persuaded
to comply with the hijackers demands.
The pilots were quickly restrained with electrical ties,
and then the pilots were straight away, held down.
The box cutters were then used, to cut the throats of the helpless, restrained, pilots.

Three of the four hijacked 9/11 planes then proceeded to their 'targets'.

BRITAIN'S NEW PREACHERS OF HATE

IN a dilapidated mosque, half a dozen awestruck young men listen to a preacher spell out his vision for Britain.
"King, Queen, House of Commons... if you accept it, you are a part of it," says Dr Ijaz Mian. "If you don't accept it, you have to dismantle it.
"So you being a Muslim, you have to fix a target. There will be no House of Commons. From that White House to this Black House, we know we have to dismantle it.
"Muslims must grow in strength... then take over."
A 10-month undercover investigation into home-grown extremism has revealed hard-line Islamic fundamentalism being preached in British mosques.
......Speaking at the Ahl-e-Hadith mosque, in Derby, Dr Mian tells his listeners: "You are in a situation in which you have to live like a state-within-a-state - until you take over.
"But until this happens, you have to preach, until you become such a force that the people just submit to you."
Dr Mian wants to see religious policemen roaming our streets, modelled on the feared Saudi Arabian force.
He says of their strict implementation of Sharia - or Islamic - law: "They send the police and they say: 'Well, if you don't come for prayer, we will arrest you. But if you still don't, then we have to bring the punishment on you - you will be killed and nobody will pray for you.'"
Dr Mian is just one of many UK preachers who've been taught the wahhabi branch of Islam in Saudi Arabia, then come back here to spread the word.
.....But the main preacher at Green Lane is Abu Usamah, an American convert who studied at Medinah University in Saudi Arabia.
He rails against non- Muslims, telling listeners not to believe in the arrests of alleged terrorists in Britain - as non- Muslims are liars.
Green Lane mosque says it is a centre for "interfaith communication and dialogue", welcoming people of all religions and cultures. But in front of a Muslim-only audience, Abu Usamah says that Jews and Christians were "enemies" to Muslims. He goes on to condemn the kuffaar - infidels or non-believers.
"No one loves the kuffaar, not a single person here loves the kuffaar," he rants. "We hate the kuffaar!"
......."Allah has not given those people who are kuffaar a way over the believer. They shouldn't be in authority over us," he tells his listeners. "Muslims shouldn't be satisfied with living in anything other than a total Islamic state."
........Abu Usamah says that he condemns terrorism. But he predicts that an army of Muslims will soon arise to wage jihad - or war - against non-believers.
"They will fight in the cause of Allah. I encourage all of you to be from among them, to begin to cultivate ourselves for the time that is fast approaching - where the tables are going to turn and the Muslims are going to be in the position of being uppermost in strength.
"And when that happens, people won't get killed - unjustly," he threatens.
......And to underline the point, throughout last year, live satellite links were set up to broadcast talks from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, the country's most senior Islamic cleric.
In the course of one live session, one worshipper asked the cleric, through a translator, if Muslims should establish good relations and forgiveness between religions.
The Grand Mufti slapped him down. "This is not true. Jews and Christians who do not follow the Prophet Mohammed are kuffaar. They will go to hell."
FOR his part, Abu Usamah later said: "Islam allows for any Muslim to peacefully co-exist here in the UK with non-Muslims, even though the UK is not an Islamic society."
He said he had made it clear that it is a religious duty of all Muslims to obey UK law and the carrying out of Islamic law could only be done in an actual Islamic state.
......It said the word kuffaar was a neutral term, and added: "We reject the assertion... that we are influenced by and teach an extreme version of Islam.
"We have no desire or intention to seize power or discriminate against others. We accept the rule of law and we treat our non-Muslim neighbours with respect."
Finally, Dr Mian said that he did not advocate that Islam would be forced upon anyone and said we had not quoted his many speeches condemning terrorism and the killing of innocent people.

You should understand that when speaking of their aims, Jihadists have one line for their followers, and then another line for the non-believers.

......A forthcoming Channel 4 Dispatches programme paints an alarming picture of how preachers in some of Britain's most moderate mosques are urging followers to reject British laws in favour of those of Islam. Leaders of the mosques have expressed concern at the preachers' activities, saying they were unaware such views were being disseminated.
......Another speaker says Muslims cannot accept the rule of non-Muslims. 'You cannot accept the rule of the kaffir [non-Muslim],' a preacher, Dr Ijaz Mian, tells a meeting held within the mosque. 'We have to rule ourselves and we have to rule the others.'

Prime Minister Tony Blair recently described tolerance as 'what makes Britain Britain' but in this extensive undercover investigation, Dispatches reveals how a message of hatred and segregation is being spread throughout the UK, inspired by Saudi Arabia - a country our government calls its principal ally in the Middle East.
Dispatches has investigated a number of mosques run by high profile national organisations that claim to be dedicated to moderation and dialogue with other faiths. But an undercover reporter joined worshippers to find a message of religious bigotry and extremism being preached.
He captures chilling sermons in which Saudi-trained preachers proclaim the supremacy of Islam, preach hatred for non-Muslims and for Muslims who do not follow their extreme beliefs - and predict a coming jihad. "An army of Muslims will arise," announces one preacher. Another preacher said British Muslims must "dismantle" British democracy - they must "live like a state within a state" until they are "strong enough to take over."

TV documentary accused of misrepresenting UK Muslims

The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) is accusing Channel Four commercial channel of attempting to foment division and sectarianism among Britain's 1.8 million Muslim community.
A documentary, being screened Monday, goes undercover at mosques to find what it in its advance publicity are "preachers condemning integration into British society, condemning democracy and praising the Taliban for killing British soldiers." MCB said the Dispatches program "mischievously tried to prove that key Muslim institutions are teaching the exact opposite to Islam commanding Muslims to deal positively and peacefully with those around us."

UK preacher in secret web call for jihad

ONE of Britain’s most vocal, extremist preachers has been using a false name on a secret website to incite Muslim followers to go on jihad, or holy war, in Somalia.
Anjem Choudary, former spokesman of the banned group Al-Muhajiroun, has posted a statement on a jihadist internet forum telling followers they must join the “divine call of jihad” in the African state.
......Choudary, who uses the pseudonym Abou Luqman, declares in the forum: “The Ethiopians, with . . . support (from the Christian crusader regimes) and backed by illegitimate Israel (Zionists), have violated the blood of Muslims in Somalia. By committing such an act of terrorism the Muslims in Somalia and nearby lands have responded to the divine call of jihad.”
He then reminds followers of their duty to fight jihad: “The obligation of supporting jihad all over the world is fard ayn (an individual obligation) . . . This honourable act must be carried out according to your own capabilities because our beloved prophet Muhammad said strike the mushrik (infidels) with your wealth, hands and tongue.”
The forum has videos and images produced by Al-Qaeda that call on Muslims to join the jihad. Images of corpses of Ethiopian soldiers are captioned “dead kuffar (infidel) bodies”.
......Forum members also analyse British news. In one posting, George Galloway, the Respect MP, is ridiculed for criticising Omar Brooks, the Muslim extremist who heckled John Reid, the home secretary, in east London. One posting says: “What a dog this Galloway guy is . . . (he) can go to hell.”
......When The Sunday Times contacted Choudary he refused to confirm whether he was Luqman or if he knew of the website. He put the phone down.
Choudary, 39, a trained lawyer from Ilford, east London, has in the past called for the execution of Pope Benedict.
Patrick Mercer, Tory spokesman for homeland security, said: “Choudary must be closed down. It’s appalling that the Home Office has not done anything against this man so far.”

Up to 200 killed in Baghdad bombs
Nearly 200 people have been killed in a string of attacks in Iraq's capital, Baghdad - the worst day of violence since a US security operation began.
In one of the deadliest attacks of the last four years, some 140 people were killed in a car bombing in a food market in Sadriya district.
A witness said the area had been turned into "a swimming pool of blood".
The attacks came as PM Nouri Maliki said Iraqi forces would take control of security across Iraq by the year's end.
As the number of people killed in the Sadriya market bombing continued to climb, Mr Maliki called the perpetrators infidels and ordered the detention of the Iraqi army commander responsible for security in that area.
"This monstrous attack today did not distinguish between the old and young, between men and women," he said.

Tortured Maid Changes Statement
A not so baffling update on this story from the Arab News, "New Twist in Nour Miyati Torture Case Baffles All"

JEDDAH — The inquiry report in the case of the Indonesian maid, Nour Miyati, who accused her sponsor and his wife of torture came as a surprise to everyone.
Quoting a statement by the Riyadh governorate, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday that during questioning by investigators Miyati herself retracted earlier charges that she was tied up and tortured by her employer. Miyati has now been charged with making false allegations against her employer.

Saudi maid verdict 'outrageous'
Human Rights Watch has called on Saudi judges to overturn a decision to drop charges against a Saudi couple accused of severely abusing an Indonesian maid.
A judge in Riyadh awarded $670 damages to the maid, Nour Miyati, but dropped all charges against her employers.
......Ms Miyati, 25, contracted gangrene after allegedly being tied up for a month and left without food in 2005. She had to have several fingers and toes amputated.
New York-based Human Rights Watch called for an appeals court to "impose stiff penalties on the employers, including imprisonment, and payment of significant financial compensation".
Saudi officials have not commented on the report.

Libya wants renewed ties with the EU as part of any deal to free six medics convicted of infecting hundreds of children with HIV, diplomats say.

......The six have been imprisoned in Libya since 1999, after being accused and then convicted of deliberately spreading HIV in a children's hospital. They say torture was used to extract their confessions.
Foreign experts say the infections started before the medics arrived at the hospital, and are more likely to have been a result of poor hygiene.

......The BBC (thanks again, Leon) is already breathlessly reporting that "British Muslims are leading a new campaign condemning the recent attempted car bomb attacks in London and Glasgow." But in reality, this one is not as clever as the Fiqh Council's document: its weasel wording is relatively obvious.

"Innocent people." How, then, does this declaration do anything to refute the views of the British jihadist Anjem Choudary, who has said forthrightly on British TV that no non-Muslims are innocent? Anjem Choudary would have no trouble agreeing to this statement. And there's your problem.

Gee, that would be nice, now nearly six years after 9/11. But it isn't nearly enough. Muslim leaders of all kinds have already denounced "terror." The problem here is that no one is defining these terms; rather, everyone is assuming that we all mean the same things by them whenever we use them. By "terror" does one mean "an unprovoked attack against innocent civilians with the intention of causing undifferentiated mayhem"? Muslim leaders will have no problem denouncing that. But if one means "actions carried out in order to advance the program of Islamic supremacism that advances through both nonviolent and violent jihad," that is quite another matter. No one is being specific enough. No one is speaking about "the jihad ideology of Islamic supremacism" and asking Muslims to denounce that. No one dares.

There can be no reform of ISLAM...
Because the PRIMARY teaching within ISLAM, the PRIMARY tenet of ISLAM, ......is that a 'good' muslim must embrace 'The Cause of Allah'.
For a 'good' muslim, honour comes through Jihad, which is expressed in their 'struggle' for the 'The Cause of Allah'.

And in ISLAM, Allah's Cause, or 'The Cause of Allah', is the desire of every 'good' muslim to see the spread of ISLAM's dominating presence over the whole world.

And, this is how devout muslims are meant to promote the 'The Cause of Allah' to independent, non-ISLAMIC, nations and individuals in world...

First, all non-muslims [nations and individuals] will be 'invited' to embrace ISLAM.
Then, if non-muslims resist the 'invitation', ISLAM instructs [in the Koran] that un-ISLAMIC persons must be fought until death, or until they submit to ISLAM's superiority. In any muslim victory, non-muslims then live under sufferance, and thereafter, are always needful to seek muslim tolerance, with a needful regard to ALL muslim demands. Dr. Murat Ugras, a spokesman for the Turgut Ozal Medical center, told the daily Hurriyet of hospital surgeons' fruitless efforts to save Ugur Yuksel, one of the three victims of the massacre at the Zirve (summit) publishing house, which distributed Christian literature.
"He had scores of knife cuts on his thighs, his testicles, his rectum, and his back," Ugras said. "His fingers were sliced to the bone.
"It is obvious that these wounds had been inflicted to torture him," he said.
The two others who were killed, Necati Aydin, pastor of Malatya's tiny Protestant community, and German Tilmann Geske, a Malatya resident with his wife and three children since 2003, were also tortured, press reports said.
........Gunaydin, 19, had reportedly made several visits beforehand to the publishing house to gain the confidence of the people working there, newspapers said.
The daily Radikal said that the German was the first to die and the two Turks were slaughtered only when police arrived at the door after receiving a call from a member of the Protestant community who grew suspicious when he found the office door locked.

After the [London] attacks that claimed 52 lives, another key figure, Zachariah, justified them by saying that the victims were not “innocent” people because they did not abide by strict Islamic laws. Instead, the young follower, Nasser, who receives £44 job seekers’ allowance a week, said it was permissible to “live off benefits”, just as the prophet Mohammed had lived off the state while attacking it at the same time. An Indonesian court has sentenced three Muslim militants to jail for beheading three Christian schoolgirls in Central Sulawesi in 2005.
......Speaking before his sentencing, Hasanuddin said going to jail did not concern him.
"It's not a problem (if I am being sentenced to prison) because this is a part of our struggle. What will become a problem is if our brothers decide to get revenge," he said.
The three girls were attacked as they walked to the private Christian school near their home in Poso. One of their heads was discovered outside a church.
The trial had been told that the attack was timed to take place during a festival at the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Hasanuddin said he wanted to avenge the deaths of Muslims killed during previous religious violence in the country, the world's most populous Muslim nation.

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - The extremist Taleban said it beheaded an Afghan doctor Tuesday after the government failed to hand over the body of top military commander Mullah Dadullah.
The insurgent movement threatened at the weekend to execute the doctor and three male nurses, who had been captured in late March, if the body was not handed over Tuesday morning.
‘We had told the government to hand over the body of Dadullah. Since they didn’t hand us the body, we beheaded one of the doctors named Abdul Khalil,’ Taleban spokesman Shohabudin Atal told AFP.

Kabul - Unidentified gunmen shot dead an Afghan woman journalist, the second such killing in less than a week, officials said on Wednesday.
Zakia Zaki, who also served as headmistress of a school, ran a private radio station partially funded by a Western media group.

Fury in Turkey at editor's murder
Thousands of people have rallied in Istanbul to protest at the murder of a prominent Turkish-Armenian journalist, Hrant Dink, outside his office.
.....Dink was found guilty in October 2005 of insulting Turkish identity after he wrote an article which addressed the mass killings of Ottoman Armenians nine decades ago.
He always said his aim was to improve the difficult relationship between Turks and Armenians.
In his last newspaper column, he wrote that there was a considerable group of people "who see me as an enemy of the Turks," and said he had received letters "full of anger and menace."

Mainstream media covering up jihad killing in Turkey
Jihad Watch reader Paul has informed me that in its coverage of the murder of journalist Hrant Dink in Turkey, the mainstream media is neglecting to mention that the killer cried, "I shot the non-Muslim," as we reported here yesterday.
That little detail appeared in a Reuters report, but now, Paul points out, it is gone.
......Now why would this be initially reported and then disappear without a trace (or a retraction)? If it were inaccurate, I would expect some kind of correction or retraction to appear. And I certainly know from personal experience that the mainstream media, both liberal and conservative, is extremely reluctant to discuss the possibility that there might be some aspect of Islam that incites to violence, or that Muslims are committing violence because of religious principles, not because of poverty or ethnicity or Abu Ghraib or Britney Spears or whatever. And then there are the powerful Muslim advocacy groups in Western countries, which portray any honest depiction of jihad violence as "Islamophobia."

ISTANBUL: A high-profile Turkish-Armenian editor, convicted of insulting Turkey’s identity, was shot dead outside his newspaper office in Istanbul yesterday.
Hrant Dink, a frequent target of nationalist anger for his comments on the mass killings of Armenians by Ottoman Turks during World War I, was shot as he left his weekly Agos around 1300 GMT in central Istanbul.
.....NTV television said Dink had been shot three times in the head and neck.
Muharrem Gozutok, a restaurant owner near the newspaper, said that the assailant looked about 20, wore jeans and a cap and shouted “I shot the non-Muslim” as he left the scene.

Nigeria teacher dies 'over Koran'
Secondary school pupils in north-east Nigeria of the country have killed a teacher after apparently accusing her of desecrating the Koran, police say.
The teacher, a Christian, was attacked after supervising an exam in Gombe city. It is not clear what she had done to anger the students.

Sixteen suspects in the murder of a Christian secondary school teacher in the northern Nigerian state of Gombe, have been released without charge. The decision has caused dismay in local Christian circles.
Married mother of two, Christiana Oluwatoyin Oluwasesin, was brutally murdered on 21 March 2007 after a Muslim student falsely accused her of having torn a copy of the Quran. The student had been caught cheating in an exam at Gandu Government Day Secondary School.

Lebanon blast kills UN soldiers
Six soldiers serving with the UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon (Unifil) have died after their vehicle was hit by an explosive device.

To confirm the reality of our position [living in the West, and 'accommodating' ISLAMISTS], just look for yourself,
