Our July gathering was held at Fort Courage and what a great venue.  There were fourteen motor homes and we welcomed first timers - Terry and Merle. A huge outdoor kitchen was put to good use by our crew providing us with a three course roast dinner on Saturday night. A member also had some fresh orange juice for all. We all sat around a  pot belly stove in a smaller shelter also with a B.B.Q., Micro and Hot Water etc. - great facilities. Being right on the waters edge, there was some fishing but nothing to keep. A few ventured out of the warmth to play disc bowls. Another weekend of "a good time had by all"

THE MURRAY DARLINGS - MAY

A wonderful weekend was had by all, at our 10th birthday weekend at the Mud Hut Hall, Colignan, near Mildura.                                                                                                      Saturday was warm enough for a couple of outside party games,

like “Knock the Nail on the Head” which was won by Bob and Chrissie,

and “Run and Squash the Balloon” won by Ian.

 It  was a lovely surprise to see Laurie and Lydia Hahn, past president and secretary of The Murray Darlings, who popped in for a visit on Saturday afternoon. Our “dress up” theme this year was Cross Dressing, and, as always, there were several excellent entries. Cards and Rummy were played inside the warm and cozy hall on Saturday night.                                                 On Sunday, our June auction was a lot of fun. Thanks, Jeff our auctioneer, and everyone who donated goods.
