PAST PLAYERS

	Matthew was picked up in the 4th round of
	the priority drafts specifically to play in
	the BP2 position where his reputation has
	been enhanced in previous seasons. After
	being in the best players after his first
	game he was struck down by injury for the
	rest of the year so the Rodents decided to
	cut their losses and delist Matt during the
	2005 season.

	Matt was one of the first chosen for the
	Rodents and found himself playing in a lot
	of different positions in his only season at
	the club. His primary position was at CHB
	but due to a few injuries early he was
	unable to be a consistent performer so was
	swung up forward where he performed
	very well. Matt finished the season playing
	in a premiership at FP. Was traded to
	Maggots with McLeod for Chris Tarrant.

	Andrew McLeod was an inaugural member
	of the Rodents and was selected early in the
	drafts to play in the rovers position. He was
	not successful in this position and was
	moved many times through the year ending
	up at I3 in the Grand Final. It was decided
	to move Andrew along in the Tarrant deal
	to give him more opportunities and secure
	a good player in return.

	Shane was a late but exciting pick up in the
	inaugural draft and we thought we could
	get a few good years out of him. He played
	many positions through the year but
	couldnt quite settle in any particular one.
	Shane played his last game for us in the
	Grand Final lining up at I1 and nearly
	getting best on ground honours in a great
	game. Shane was delisted at seasons start of
	2006 .

	Age		28

	Blake was selected as an uncontracted
	player half way through the Rodents first
	season in 2005. Much was expected of Blake
	but continual injury concerns throughout
	the remainder of 2005 and a bad shoulder
	through the first part of 2006 made the
	club come to the decision to delist him. We
	hope he finds form and another club, maybe
	us, will throw him another lifeline.

		Blake Grima

	Age		21

	Troy would still be on our list if he hadnt
	been delisted by the Kangaroos. He was a
	great utility player and was consistent in
	gaining 10 kicks per game and scoring from
	the interchange. He was a premiership
	player in 2005 in our first year and will be
	remembered for that reason. He was selecte
	in the final rounds of the 2005 drafts and
	delisted before the 2007 season.

	We were happy when it came to the final
	rounds of the 2005 preseason drafts that
	Sav was still around. The Full forward
	position was the one position that we
	couldnt grab a high profile player but Sav
	filled that role superbly in 2005 and most
	of 2006 . He decided to retire at the end of
	2006 which meant that we had to delist
	him in order to have room to grab some
	young players .

	Brett was one of our best players through
	2005 and played a great role in our Grand
	Final win that year. He was very injury
	prone during 2006 and didnt seem to pick
	up the big numbers playing at FB like he
	was the previous year. We put Brett up for
	trade at the start of the 2007 preseason but
	due to age he had no takers, so we delisted
	him during the preseason trade period.
