Tanmayo
is an artist who experiments
with space and colour, juxtaposing
flat planes of spatial expression
punctuated with focused interludes
of rich colour. Colour is orchestrated
in a way that is informal but
playful, thus generating a sense
of ordered limitlessness. She
uses both acrylics and watercolour
medium and draws her inspiration
from the natural environment
and her inner knowing.
Tanmayo has a BA with a double
Major in Psychology from the
University of Qld, Australia
and a Masters Degree in Expressive/Art
Therapy from the University of
Louisville, Kentucky, USA. She
is a Registered Expressive Art
Psychotherapist and a Professional
Member of ANZATA.
She is also an artist and has
won national art prizes including
the Aust/American
Bi-centennial Art Prize
in Australia.
She has exhibited in USA, India
and Australia where her paintings
are in notable collections including
those of Caltex, AMP and Griffith
University, Brisbane. |
