"Take the ROUGH with the SMOOTH" 
the Collie (Rough) and the Collie (Smooth).
The club was formed in 1951 as the "Scotch Collie Society of Queensland", and the founding President was Mr Daffurn. The Club conducted its first Show on 31st May, 1952, and shows have been held each year ever since. A milestone in the club's history was the conducting of the first ever Collie National in 1985. The Club was incorporated in 1995.
We will be conducting two Championship Shows in 2009 at the C.C.C. of Queensland's Dog Complex at Durack, on the June Queen's Birthday Long weekend, inconjunction with other specialty and all breeds shows. More details as they are finalised.
We will hold other functions and fund raising activities from time to time.
Our General Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month (usually bi-monthly) at the Dog Complex, commencing at 730 p.m.
