After using my simple Plank Thicknesser for many years I decided to make an attachment that would allow me to use my linisher as a thicknesser. This attachment is still pretty simple but the whole set up is more effective than the simple drum sander.
  The photos show my thicknessing attachment. The whole thing bolts onto the linisher and is adjustable by turning the threaded rods which raises or lowers the bottom plate to required thickness. |
