Task Force 72 - Fleet Base Wagga Wagga is the local chapter of the Task Force 72 Scale Model Ship Association. A small group of enthusiastic model ship builders make up Fleet Base Wagga Wagga. Members usually get together each weekend for a couple of hours to share ideas and talk about everything and anything, sometimes we even talk about model ships.

There are usually a couple organised sailing days held each year in the Wagga Wagga area that we participate in. We also try to support events organised by other modelling clubs by attending static displays both locally and further a field. Several of the members also attend other Task Force 72 events held around the country throughout the year.

The members of TF72 - Fleet Base Wagga Wagga enjoy building and sailing 1:72nd scale model ships. Many of the models are warships but there are a few merchant ships within the group. The models range in size from some of the smallest to some of the largest in TF72.
