I have made a mini saw bench for cutting small pieces of timber and plastic into planks. This is a very accurate saw for small work. Mainly constructed from aluminium, the major assemblies were built using my lathe and milling machine.

My mini saw bench has been another useful tool. A variety of blades can be fitted for cutting different materials. The height of the table can be adjusted up and down. There are still a few modifications that I intend to incorporate into this design but it still works well the way it is. The speed of the electric hand drill that drives the saw is variable so that the appropriate speed can be used for different materials. |
