7 - RAIL MOTOR No 1 - 0 - 4 - 0-Collier7.25"G
By this time I have been more than 10 years in the hobby and I considered a 7.25" G
engine . I wanted a small engine that I could handle in my small workshop , hence the
Rail Motor . This is relatively powerful and have good traction effort for its size .

8 - NSW C36 - 4 - 6 - 0 - in 2.5"G
At this stage I wanted a small locomotive to put in a glass cabinet in the living room , I
settled on NSW C36 in 2.5" G , this engine only ran once on the track for testing
purpose and has been since in the glass cabinet .

9 - SMR10 - 2 - 8 - 2 - Tank engine in 5"G
By this time building steam models became part of my life style and I started planning the
next project / s . I wanted a good size 5" G NSW tank engine and this was my choice . I
operated the engine for a short while and then she was stolen from our house in December
/ 2000 .

10 - Lion - 0 - 4 - 2 - In 5"G
In mid nineties a hobby business owner indicated to me that he might close down , I could buy
things on special , I bought plans and castings for two lions ,two Stirlings , a Manor , a Dukedog and
Gemma . I started sort of mass production of frames ,wheels , boilers and fittings for these engines .
Then complete one at a time . Tlhis engine is sold to an our club member .

Status - This engine is new waiting for a steam test
12 - NSW Z 13 - 4 - 4 - 2 Tank engine
I started on this project when I was building Rail Motor ( still in the mood of small 7.25"G ) , I
purchased plans for 5"(scaled them up to 7.25") and driving wheels and was led to believe that
other castings will be available in short period of time , I built the frame ,machined the wheels
and made the boiler , years later no hope of getting any more castings I made a patern for
cylinder block and got them cast and the remaining parts fabricated .For some castings such
as other wheels , chimney, dome cover and smoke box door I improvised from other models .
