My Models History
1 - CLYTON STEAM WAGON - 1.5"scale.
This was the first steam model I built , a friend , Neil Matherson was building one and he showed
me his model under construction and inspired me to build one , I started with his help and
directions I was on my way , I borowed money from the bank and set up my workshop , for better
or worst I got hooked on this hobby , 32 years later I am still building engines . Steam became part
of my life or one may say way of life . I have no regrets .

storage . This engine also went in storage as other engines were built and operated , it stayed in
storage for a while untill was sold to one of our members in the club and still is in his posession .

6 - BURREL TRACTION ENGINE - in 1.5"scale
I purchased plans and castings for this engine soon after I started the hobby but as I buit
locomotives my interest changed and this was left on the shelf halve done for some time . I
decided to finish it , when comleted I gave it a run on air , that was OK but there was a leak
from cylinder mounting , I lost intrest in road engines and therefore it went in the living room
and stayed there until a gentleman expressed intrest in it and it was sold with leaking fault
declared .
