I have gathered most of the facts on BMC from three web sites. Much of the story of BMC in Australia can be found at Jim Jarron's fantastic web site. Another great source of information is John Lindsay's BMC site and Wikipedia gives an excellent commentary on the development of the Major from the Series I through to the Elite. Magazine "road tests" offer interesting reading, and are provided here as archived files, along with other other useful historical documents such as the BMC duco colour charts and Mobilubrication Chart. I am keen to ensure that these resources are available to restorers and encourage others to forward scans of material for inclusion here.
