To the authors of the website australian explorer and in particular your page on Aboriginal history, why don’t you kindly refer to the “Europeans” as british (paragraph 4), as you did in the previous (paragraph 3).

Or do the british prefer a European reference to themselves when they murder, rape and pillage?

Europeans like the Dutch and French landed in australia well before the british and did not murder, conquer or settle. Rather, they exchanged cultures and information going back to their respective mother lands to inform of wonderful discoveries.

And I quote:

The british murdered, settled and brought diseases, not the Europeans.

For those of you not well informed, britain is in the European Union or Common Market, but alas, not the almighty british pound, the british currency. Apparently the Europeans do not deserve the british pound. Nice british strategy which now permits the british to label themselves as Europeans when it suits of british course. Shame on you lot. Read carefully any english text that writes of wars and tragedies to notice the reference to Europeans by the british. Its becoming more common as the british frantically try to rejuvenate and alter their murderous and oppressive heritage.

I canny forget my educators telling me how wonderful the british convict settlers were only to discover years later it was nothing but lies and fabrications. Aborigines of all continents have endured and still endure under british regimes (Americas, India’s, Pacific Nations, blah blah). Lands stolen, the stolen generations. The missionaries maintained a steady income though. Jobs for the folks and jobs for life. Don’t get all hot’n flustered it’s a historical occurrence repeated many times over, wars between tribes etc., worse has happened throughout history.

Mind you, here in australia we still have the best hospital systems that keep us alive and well. Three british cheers for industrialism. Onya lads/lasses.
