Various Words - a homepage

Welcome to my site; my name is Laird, going on the internet by the handle "Netocrat". This site isn't autobiographical, isn't comprehensive, and isn't designed to be either (it is designed to be comprehensible though). Why do I include it in my signature then? Because it provides some context to my posts and emails, so that the curious can get a small idea of the internet- and development-related things that interest me - a bit like (one side of) meeting someone at a conference and having a short, random discussion of subjects related to the conference, without sharing family histories and living arrangements nor even working out what each other's main priorities are.
