Industrial Brake & Friction was established in 1998. Our main
warehouse is located in the Perth's industrial area of Malaga.
With more than 20 years experience with the mining and
earthmoving industry, we recognised the need for a
specialist wet brake and friction supplier and we chose to take
up the challenge.
Over the past years we have successfully established long-term
relationships with international OEM manufacturers for
the supply of wet brake and friction discs for mining,
industrial, marine and agricultural markets of Australia.
Industrial Brake & Friction is proud to be the sole Authorised
Distributor for FMC in Western Australia.
We are the sole authorized
distributors in Western Australia for Friction Marketing. We
import, market and supply wet disc friction plates for the
mining, industrial, marine and agricultural markets.

Quality Assurance
Our supplier, FMC is the largest global representative for
one of the world's leading manufacturer of wet friction
products. They along with their associated companies
manufacturer industrial friction products in the United States
of America, Italy, Japan, Canada and the UK.
As a CERTIFIED and
PREFERRED supplier to many of the
world's largest equipment manufacturers whose production range
includes wet brake discs, steels, frictions and cork dampers as
well axle, transmission, steering and differential plates. The
composition of which these plates are available in is Graphite,
Sintered Bronze, Cellulose, and Kevlar paper in addition to the
steel mating plates and cork dampers.
Due to the ongoing extensive research and development
continually undertaken the product offered is of the highest
standard presently available and is produced to/or above
Original Equipment standards. Such quality is ensured due to
continual testing on 26 wet and dry dynamometers that care for
their proprietary customers.
Availability
It is only in the past several years this product has come
available on the open market in WA yet it is fast being
recognised as the leading alternative to OEM branded goods within
the industrial market.
Industrial Brake & Friction carry substantial stock in our Malaga warehouse.
Normally a customers requirements are met off the shelf. We
regularly bring stock shipments that are received via sea
freight and willingly look to expand our range.
Our stock line is constantly growing as new product becomes
available and new markets are identified. We are able to satisfy
our customers' needs if not off the shelf through our emergency
airfreight service. Goods are sourced from the FMC warehouse
with a lead-time of 5 to 7 days, subject to availability.
