Hughes Engine House Moonta Mines S.A.
Surrounding Hughes Engine House is a flat open plain with a small amount of rubble. With this Shot I have taken a wider approach taken into consideration all the surrounding elements. On this Night there was a Full Moon high in the sky, creating such a bright glow over the Hughes and surrounding areas. This has made the picture almost look like daylight, but the stars give it away as a night shot. I have also taken this shot directly south, which has captured the Southern Cross Pointers, Alpha and Beta Centuri. Alpha is our closest star other than our Sun.
