Hughes Chimney Wallaroo S.A
This great icon faces Wallaroo Bay, which is used as a landmark for all, especially fisherman. In this picture I have tried to capture the awesomeness of the chimney, but kept in mind the landscape that surrounds it. This night it was about 11:30pm; the Moon had just set making the southern night sky come to life. The backdrop of the Chimney was the heart of our galaxy, the Milky Way with the constellations Scorpio and Sagittarius shining brightly. For lighting for this picture I only used the natural lighting that was available at the time which came from the Jetty and surrounding foreshore.
