“QAWW2” — Jenny has ‘bitten the bullet’ and started the LONG overdue restructuring of this web site… the site had its origin in the marketing phase of my book but now my interests are changing. We felt that although ‘Queensland Airfields’ as a HARD COPY is possibly a thing of the past, the name QAWW2 should apply to the new website.         Roger R Marks 

QAWW2 is the acronym for my book,
“Queensland Airfields WW2 – 50 Years On”.     
Self published by my wife Jenny and I, back in 1994, we sold our last (of 3000 !) copy in 2001. And yes, we’ve fielded many phone and e-mail enquiries since, asking – “when are you going to RE-PRINT?”
We promised ourselves back then we’d only print IT once but we are trying to put the book “on CD-ROM”. If you are interested please e-mail us and ‘place your name on the list’ via CONTACT US on this website.
