Here are some ideas

please and keep it "clean" or at least be subtle -- adult internet content
is prohibited by Australian law).

or imaginary.

Think of your five
greatest
fears or aspirations/desires. Now chose one and turn it into a
poem, a short story or just write a couple of paragraphs about it, if you
are feeling in a confessional mood.

Go out
in your town on a Friday night. Describe
the setting. Choose a character in the crowd and imagine what their life
is like.

Start up a story
that the whole group can take turns adding to.

Look out your window.
Chose something to describe in an original way (ie avoiding cliche).

Scan the paper.
Chose a headline. Write a few paragrahs, imagining the character involved
and how they would feel to be in that situation.

Explore
your senses...for an hour become completely aware of either: everything
you touch, everything you see, everything you smell. Write a few hundred
words about it.

Write about some of
the frustrations in your life that are stopping you from writing.
