Here is what we have accomplished to date..

1st fund raising - christmas stocking - proceeds went to 2BS bathurst Lion's Miracle Christmas Appeal. 22 dec 200 Tickets were on sale for a whole 21 days before they were sold out. The happy winner is pictured here holding a massive stocking filled with AU$1800 valued goods.. needless to say her family had a great day :-] click on picture for full size |

29 march 2009 - Walk Against Poverty Catherine has been quoted as saying "that without sponsers and or donations the ability to raise awareness about poverty and homelessness is very limited. Addressing this very silent threat to the welfare of our underprivilaged is our prime concern".. click on picture for full size |

Drive for Christmas Appeal 2009 Our itinerary is going to be within regional nsw over the next 3 months stopping in September, all proceeds to be handed to local charities at Bunnings in Bathurst on 17 October 2009. Bringing joy to the needy at that special time of year, which most of us do take for granted. click on picture for full size Update Christmas appeal.. 15 june 2009 Dissapointed by the recent christmas appeal in bathurst, Skip The Chatter was not discouraged , Thanks for Burgess Caravan in bathurst for donating a trailor. Still without a sponsor Skip The Chatter is continuing to organise future appeals in Lithgow , Orange Dubbo and other regional areas. A point that has not been mentioned untill now is research on homeless that has been compiled by Skip The Chatter will be forwarded to State government with a request that more be given to regional areas in 2010 budget. Special thanks goes to Veg-it-t8 located within Maquarie Plaza Bathurst for endless hours of help and donating Veg-it-t8's shop space for use in donations recieved for the ongoing christmas appeal. |

| Catherine is no stranger to the in and outs of politic's. She has come up against the brick wall many times within the halls of power, ESPECIALLY when it is in regards to the plight of the homeless. HERE is one such offical transcript from when she first started fighting for the homeless and destiutute back in 2003. this file is in pdf format. |
Since then there have been numerous fund raising efforts through the reigon which includes Raffles - Cakestalls and Sausage Sizzles from which all proceeds are going towards Local Bathurst Christmas Appeal.
So please help this worthy charity by becoming a sponser as we really are desperate!!
