Ducati 996

This is a track day 996 that has an Ulti-map chip in it (blue). This is at 100% throttle and has a big lean spot between 5.5 and 7 thousand rpm but at cruising speeds, between 2 and 10% throttle the air/fuel was so rich it wasn't funny. The red line is now with a Power Commander fitted and mapped with tuning link.  Notice how much smoother the air/fuel is after 5 grand. I'm telling you guys....the Power commander is a far better option for tuning "your" bike.

Same again. This had an ulti map chip on it and had dips in the power at 3.5 and 6 thousand rpm. Remapping with the power commander and Tuning Link restored that lost power and made it a lot smoother.

While these graphs show you 100% throttle info, the biggest change in the bikes we are finding is at cruising and rolling on the throttle. These ulti maps are mega rich in these areas. The rideability of these bikes has improved out of sight. It's not so much about power gains, but getting the bike to run as it should and hence, provide the best power/economy as a consequence.
