James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) is dispatched to foil a host of Soviet villains, including fiendish femme fatale Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), from pulling off a dastardly nuclear plot, but gets more than he bargained for when he finds the real enemy behind everything is his former partner, 006 (Sean Bean), long presumed dead but in fact only biding his time. With the fate of the world on the line, Bond and a sexy sidekick infiltrate the radio telescope facility controlling the GoldenEye satellites, where the most dangerous showdown of all awaits as 007 takes on another one of Her Majesty’s finest.
