After retiring from life as a lawman, Wyatt Earp and his family move to the boom town of Tombstone, AZ. Tombstone has a veneer of civilization over an uncivilized core. The Cowboys, a gang of outlaws, arrive in town leaving the Earp brothers little choice but to get involved in laying down the law. The Earps along with Doc Holiday, an old friend, and a few defected cowboys engage in a series of gun battles until the treat of the Cowboys is dismantled. Along the way there are deaths, break-ups, a romantic sub-plot, and the kinds of arguments that only happen in families.
