Frank Miller’s Sin City is faithfully adapted to film by directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Set in the grim and corrupt Basin City, the film follows three men caught in a struggle of redemption and revenge. Hartigan (Bruce Willis), a veteran cop on the brink of retirement, fights to save Nancy Callahan (Jessica Alba) from a deranged pedophile / serial killer. Marv (Mickey Rourke) is a thug who vows revenge on those who murdered the beautiful Goldie (Jaime King). In the seedy Old Towne where the girls run the show, Dwight (Clive Owen) tracks the twisted cop called Jackie Boy (Benicio del Toro). Stunning and tragic, this is not a film for the faint of heart.
