ABOUT US

After attending a few adventure races put on by various companies. I noticed that people tended to hang in small groups and not really mingle much.  Then immediately after the race a high percentage of competitors and their families left. I felt that the social aspect for adventure racers in South East Queensland (SEQ) was lacking.  So I decided to start a club and "The AR Club" was born.

Our aim is to organize free and low cost social rides, runs, swims, kayak, navigation and workshops around SEQ and Northern NSW.  We will also endeavor to involve local companies to provide discounted products and services to our members.  We are however a non-profit organization and therefore to do this we will require the assistance of our members.  We aim to have two types of members.

Website Members:  These members will utilize all functionality of this website and be able to come along to all our social outings.

Full Members:  These members will receive extra privileges on top of those bestowed to our website members as they will have direct input into the club and will be required to have a more active role in the club.
